Students should first attempt to resolve the concern directly with the appropriate instructor or staff member. This may be skipped when the complaint involves that person or direct communication would be inappropriate.
When unresolved, submit a written complaint to the School Director by email, mail, or in person. Include your contact information, date and description, people involved, supporting documents, steps already taken, and requested resolution.
The school will acknowledge the complaint within five business days and make every reasonable effort to provide a written response within 15 business days. The student will be notified if more time is required.
A student dissatisfied with the response may request final review in writing within 10 business days. A final written decision will generally be issued within 10 business days.
Students dissatisfied with the school’s response, or unable to file with the school, may file with the Texas Workforce Commission Career Schools and Colleges Division.
Texas career school student information ↗BWF will maintain complaint records, provide the policy to students, post required notices, and protect students from retaliation for a good-faith complaint. Information will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible.
